Reconciliation
After an appropriate preparation period, within the First Communion program,
Reconcilliation is celebrated as a group. Reconcilliation will stress the fact that
each child is a
unique individual with his or her own special gifts.
First Communion
             
After a two year preparation period, students may receive First Communion.
(usually in the Grade 2) Weekly Mass attendance is expected of
ALL students
in the Religious Education Program, and is considered an intrical part of the
preparation for First Communion. Attendance at any weekend Mass is
acceptable however,students are strongly encouraged to attend the 9:15A.M.
Family Mass.

As Sacraments are Parish based. ALL parish children receive First
Communion together in designated groups according to class assignments.

Confirmation
This involves a two year preparation period, usually grade nine and ten.
The program focuses on formal classes and Christian Service.
Each student is expected to attend all meetings, classes and retreats.
Failure to do so may result in a delay in receiving the Sacrament of Confirmation
                         

Please plan ahead re: homework, sports, work and other commitments.
If for some reason you are unable to attend any scheduled event
you are expected to call
Ms McCabe prior to the event and inform her of your absence and reason.
